This game is fun IMO particularly in co-op with friends. In reference to glitches the patch released on release day seems to have taken care of most, I haven't had my game crash ever. Worst I saw was a crate on an oil rig I blew to hell still floating in the air.
The best airstrikes are laser designated or satellite guided both of which you can do from a half mile or more away.
Overall worth the rental, and far from horrible. It's fun. It is like what Cobra is comp...
Called customer support because the website status box said: "Xbox live is up and running" but I couldnt' connect.
Told the nice girl who took my call such and then she comes back and says "well the website says xbox live is down" refreshed the browser and well I'll be.
So yeah xbox live crapped the bed today.
Edit: This isn't even a DLC this is a free update. Good to see though that real DLC is coming in November.
I never saw any significant game glitches that affected either my single player playthrough or the 3 campaigns I helped friends complete. I'm pumped for this DLC. Whether you like it or not it is good to see DLC coming out within a reasonable time frame.
Too many games now are just played for a week then thrown away, it is good to see DLC expanding on a game. Yes some will say that the game was "unfinished" and this is "milking money" but I don't see it to be...

Too bad the land of the rising sun couldn't come along on a cloud and give us a AAA survival horror game. I've seen reviews from 8s to 6s, I think the jury is still out, but that's not stopping any of you slamming the "West". Move to the "East" if you want to dive into that culture so bad.
Take a step back from the East vs West thing, rent the game and give it a legit shot.
